The Grass Roots International grant-making program is designed to provide critical support to the most vital and effective social movements in the global South, particularly rural movements that are struggling for the right to food, land and water. The goal of Grass Roots International is to help small farmers and other small producers, indigenous peoples and women win resource rights: the human rights to land, water and food.
