The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Collaboration Fund 2015 is open for applications. Applications are accepted from PEFC members and other non-profit organizations for new and innovative projects. Applications can be made in partnership with private or public sector organizations.
The PEFC support is up to CHF 40,000 (monitory or in-kind) to implement the proposed project for up to two years.
Activities
- New approaches or activities to raise awareness, communicate and promote certification or certified products.
- Capacity building that enables the expansion of forest certification.
- Research relevant to PEFC’s International Standards or the implementation of National standards.
- Research and exploration to further integrate new products, services and/or approaches into PEFC certification schemes.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be PEFCC members (both national & international stakeholder members) and non-profit organizations.
- Project partners can be private and public sector organizations.
- If lead applicant is not the PEFC member as in first point, one of the project partner must belong to the family.
- Grantees must provide evidence of at least 35% additional co-funding from other sources within the overall project budget.
- Proposal must be submitted using the Fund’s application form.
