The Save Our Seas Foundation (SOSF) invites applications from Early career scientists (Having five years of a degree being awarded), Conservationists, Educators for its Small Grants during the funding period of 2016. Duration of the grant will be 12 to 18 months and small grant average 5,000 USD projects. The small projects up to the budget of US$10,000 (with grants averaging which should be completed within a 12-month period will be considered.
The Save Our Seas Foundation (SOSF) is committed to protecting our oceans by funding research, conservation and educational projects that focus on the major threats to the marine aquatic species and habitats.
Eligibility Criteria
- Early career scientists (Having five years of a degree) Conservationists, Educators are eligible to apply.
- Projects should include at least two of these three components-research, conservation and educational projects on sharks, rays and skates.
- Local projects conducted by local project leaders are encouraged.
- Applicant must have the knowledge of English Language.
