The Weeden Foundation is accepting letter of intent from organizations with IRS tax exemption 501(c)(3) in case of US-based organizations and an equivalence from non-US based organizations under its grant programs.

- Domestic Biodiversity Program – USA
- International Biodiversity Program – Latin America, Russia, Bolivia, Siberia
- Land Acquisition Program – USA, Latin America- Chile, Paraguay, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, Belize and Namibia
- Population Program – USA, Latin America
- Consumption Program – USA
Priority is given to returning grant recipients. The average grant size is $20,000.
Application materials include – annual report with latest financial statements, list of Board of Directors and their affiliations, email address for the primary contact, IRS tax exemption 501(c)(3) certification letter or an equivalency form for non-US based organizations (available through the Foundation), project budget, organizational budget, other sources and amounts of institutional support (past, present, and anticipated future), and qualifications of key personnel.
