All eligible applicants are invited to submit applications for AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award PhD Studentships in History offered to pursue PhD level studies at the University of Leicester. The goal of this program is to gain experience of close interaction with the organizations, archives, personnel and skills set of the Society of Apothecaries and GW Pharmaceuticals.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must have a first-class or high upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent qualification) in history or a relevant discipline and meet the University’s standard English language entry requirements. It is expected that applicants will have a relevant Masters degree with merit or distinction or be able to show evidence that they will achieve this before the start of the PhD programme.
- Academic eligibility – applicants must-
- Have applied for and been offered a place to study at the University of Leicester (such an offer will be made to the successful applicant for this studentship)
- Hold a relevant postgraduate Masters degree
- Residency eligibility – applicants must-
- Be a British national normally resident in the UK
- Be an EU national normally resident in the UK, the EU or Switzerland
- Have been resident in the UK or EU for the past three years for reasons other than education
