Swansea University is pleased to invite applications for Fully-Funded PhD Studentship in Psychology. The purpose of this program is to explore the neural circuitry underpinning gambling-related cognitive processes in the context of gambling addiction, a growing societal problem in the UK (1% of the adult population).
Scholarship covers-
- cover UK/EU tuition fees
- provide a stipend of approximately £13,726 p.a. for a maximum of 3 years subject to satisfactory progress.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be from the UK/EU.
- Applicants must have, or expect to achieve, a minimum 2:1 honours degree (or equivalent) and/or an MSc in a relevant discipline (e.g. psychology or neuroscience).
- Applicants should have strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Applicants should have experience with Matlab programming and imaging dataset (imaging data).
