Health Foundation is accepting applications for PhD fellowship awards in improvement science at King’s College London. The goal of this program is to offer a new training opportunity to specialize in improvement science to outstanding individuals early in their career.
Documents required-
- A full CV including contact details for two referees
- A personal statement (maximum 1,000 words)
- One example of document, report or publication of which you are the sole or main author – these could be dissertation theses, research reports, journal papers or other materials.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Applicants must be promising individuals who are UK/EU nationals with a first class or upper second class degree with clear evidence of first class work.
- For the 3+1 award, applicants should have an appropriate Masters degree including sound training in research methods (or equivalent experience in a relevant area) and meet university entrance requirements.
- Relevant backgrounds include medicine, and allied health professions, management, psychology, sociology, political science, geography, economics, law and other fields with a substantive health or social science content. Provision for additional training will be made where appropriate.
- Experience as a patient/service user is also required for study 3.
