Artists are invited to submit entries by 27 January 2012 for pre-selection in the first international festival of contemporary sculpture to be staged in the National Botanical Garden after Hryshko in Kyiv, Ukraine, from 2 June to 2 July, 2012.
OPPORTUNITIES
- Prize System: Best Project Award, Best Emerging Artist Award, Audience Choice Prize, Special Award from the Project Sponsor (detailed information will be announced on February 2, 2012)
- Participation in an international project in one of the most picturesque spots in Kyiv, the first of its kind in Eastern Europe
- High festival attendance, partially due to UEFA championship EURO 2012 visitors. It is expected that during the festival Kyiv will receive more than 800,000 additional tourists

- Subsidies for the production of works by 7 of the selected artists

ELIGIBLE
Existing sculptures (produced after 2009) and proposals are eligible for entry to KSP.
All types, forms and sizes of sculpture in all materials are eligible for entry to KSP. The exhibition site can accommodate the largest to the smallest sculpture, however when submitting works artists are required to consider safety, ease of installation and removal, the environment and the ability of their work to withstand the natural setting.
New media, installation and non-object based proposals are also acceptable. The only sculptures that may be ineligible for the exhibition are those using fire, water or very loud amplified sound.
