Peace Revolution invites young people around Europe to apply for the Fellowship program entitled “Peace In + Peace Out = Sustainable World Peace”. Individuals desiring to learn and explore self-development as a primary means to create real world change are encouraged to apply for a week-long retreat to be held from 21 to 27 September 2014.
Peace Revolution supports individuals find inner peace and share that peace with their families, friends and communities. The retreat primarily focuses on meditation, yoga and self-development promoting a culture of peace, peace education, conflict prevention and youth empowerment. The program helps individuals learn to be less reactive to emotions, stress and challenging external environments and become proactive towards real and meaningful world change.
Total 30 youth will be selected to participate in the self-development program. The fellowship covers food, accommodation, retreat fee, promotional material for use of participation and 50% airfare to participate in the course. The retreat site is Lede, Belgium.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be from European Member States or hold a Schengen Visa.
- Applicants must be 18-30 years of age.
- Candidates participating in the course must have completed 21 days of online self-development program. Applications can be submitted beforehand, but to participate, the candidate must meet this eligibility point.
- Applicants must be proficient in English language.
- Applicants should be optimistic, be open-minded, show leadership potential, and have a genuine interest in peace.
- Candidates must be fully self-supportive for the transportation to the retreat site.
