Uzbek Non state Actors (NSAs) can provide enforcement to these national objectives as they operate closer to the local communities and are better acquainted with the specific needs of the vulnerable groups of population in their regions.
Uzbek NSAs need to be reinforced in terms of administrative and technical competences, in order to be able to provide better social support and services to the most vulnerable population. Partnership and network-building would not only encourage collaboration, sharing of experience and information among Uzbek NSAs but would also facilitate exchange of experience, best practices, and information with their European and international counterparts.
The Institution Building Partnership Programme (IBPP) – Support to Civil Society and Local Initiatives (hereafter referred to as “The Programme”) aims at strengthening the role of civil society in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to contribute to the improvement of living standards of vulnerable groups in Uzbekistan.
The specific objectives of this Call for Proposals are-
- To strengthen the capacities of Uzbek non state actors to intervene in targeted areas of social needs;
- To increase and improve social services delivered to the most vulnerable groups of the Uzbek population.
