Outstanding active researchers around the world are invited to work on an important piece of Asia-related research in the social sciences and humanities. The applications can be made for one of the following: senior research fellowship, research fellowship, postdoctoral fellowship, visiting senior research fellowship or visiting senior research fellowship (Sabbatical).
The fellowship is being provided by Asian Research Institute (ARI). Senior fellows will receive S$6000 per month, research fellows will receive S$5000 per month with an additional S$500 per month housing allowance; postdoctoral fellows receive fixed monthly salary of S$5000, a monthly housing allowance of S$500 and a one-off travel subsidy of S$2000; and the visiting fellows will receive a monthly honorarium of S$5000.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants for senior research fellowships and research fellowships must have a PhD from a reputable university and with publication record preferably in English Language.
- Applicants for senior research fellowships must have more than 5 years of research experience after their PhD.
- Applicants for postdoctoral fellowships must have fulfilled all requirements of securing a PhD from a reputable university.
- Applicants for visiting senior research fellowship and visiting senior research fellowship (Sabbatical) must have extensive research experience after their PhD and a strong publication record in the field.
