The Endeavour Research Fellowship provides financial support for postgraduate students and postdoctoral fellows from participating countries to undertake short-term research (4-6 months) towards a Masters or PhD (which they are enrolled in a participating country) or postdoctoral research in any field of study in Australia.
The Endeavour Research Fellowship aim to:
- enable high achieving scholars from participating countries to undertake research in Australia and for Australians to do the same abroad;
- further develop the social and economic environment of Australia and the participating countries;
- further develop Award Holders’ knowledge and skills in their field of research;
- strengthen bilateral ties between Australia and the participating countries;
- showcase Australia’s educational sector;
- strengthen mutual understanding between the people of Australia and Award Holders’ home countries; and
- build international linkages and networks.
