SWP is calling for applications for up to eight »Arab Transformation Fellowships« that will be awarded to mid-career academics and practitioners from the region. These fellowships will have a length of between two and six months and will be awarded during the period July 2012 through December 2013.
Eligibility:
- Citizenship or former citizenship of a member state of the Arab League;v
- Masters degree or PhD in the social sciences, or equivalent experience;
- Five years of professional experience in a university, think tank, NGO, administration or international organization;
- Substantial periods of residence in the Arab region;
- Excellent knowledge of Arabic and English. Knowledge of French and/or German a plus.
