Croatian applicants are invited for doctoral research fellowships program offered by the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies at University of Alberta. For this program proficiency in English is required. The Fellowship is valued at CAN $ 25,200.00 and will be paid in equal monthly installments at the end of each month, beginning September 2013.
Requirements-
Applicants should submit a short English-language description (maximum 500 words) of their research project, a full curriculum vitae, and the names of two references. Application should be submitted by e-mail, email address is given in website.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Young scholars from any discipline in the Humanities, Social Sciences or Fine Arts are invited to apply.
- Candidates should be Croatian citizens enrolled in a Ph.D. programme at a Croatian university at all-but-dissertation level and have an excellent command of spoken and written English. A sound reading knowledge of German or other Central European language and a proven research record (ideally in the form of publications), would be an asset.
