The International Labour Organization’s (ILO) Microinsurance Innovation Facility is requesting applications for its Fellowship Programme from eligible candidates from countries given below. The fellowships provide an opportunity for young professionals to gain hands-on experience in microinsurance by working onsite in a microinsurance programme under the remote guidance of a mentor and, at the same time, to build the institutional capacity of the host organization.
The fellows will be required to take up assignments based in developing countries for a period of 6-12 months during which they will be paid monthly stipends based on their host country and experience. Fellows will be based at organizations in the developing countries. Countries and partner organizations are listed below:
- Bangladesh: Sajida Foundation
- Fiji Islands: Pacific Financial Inclusion Program
- Papua New Guinea: Pacific Financial Inclusion Program
- Pakistan: Naya Jeevan
- India: Emmanuel Hospital Association
- Guatemala: Aseguradora Rural
