The RNTC is accepting fellowship/scholarship applications from young and mid career journalists, program-makers, print and online media professionals as well as media trainers and senior managers from 51 NFP countries and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) countries to participate in the short-courses designed specifically for them. There are five open opportunities accepting applications for NFP Fellowship and MENA scholarships to attend the course.
The RNTC is an international training institute serving media professionals working in broadcast, print and online media.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have minimum of three years experience in the media/NGO sector. Freelancers can apply writing their own employment statement.
- Applicants must have successfully followed secondary education, and professional education or training in media.
- Applicants must have good command over English language. Applicants’ whose official/national language is other than English should submit certified statement from a recognized authority establishing her/his proficiency in spoken and written English.
- For NFP Fellowship, applicants should be from one of the following NFP countries – Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Autonomous Palestinian Territories, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burma, Burundi, Cambodia, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Macedonia, Mali, Mongolia, Mozambique, Nepal, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
- Only one application can be made per NFP application deadline. An individual can participate in one short-course per NFP fellowship.
- Applicants must not be employed by a multinational corporation, a UN organization, the World Bank, the IMF, a bilateral or multinational donor organization, or a large national and/or commercial organization.
- Applicants who have already received two NFP fellowships for short courses in the past are not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must not have already received an NFP fellowship for a short course in the year prior to this fellowship application.
Candidates need to upload a government statement and employer’s statement along with the fellowship application.
Complete application documents for admission to the course are – curriculum vitae, diplomas/degrees and transcripts from colleges or universities (translation required if the documents are in languages other than English, French, Spanish, German or Dutch), a copy of the English language proficiency test document, and passport/ID along with a letter of motivation.
Note: Applications must be made for the admission of the course as well as for NFP/MENA to secure a seat for the course and the fellowship/scholarship to participate in the short-course.
