The Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society in The Ludwig-Maximilians University, Munich and Deutsches Museum has jointly launched a fellowship program for the postdoctoral and senior graduates. The purpose of the program is to support the excellent scholars in environmental humanities and related disciplines in their residential research project.
The fellows will work on a major research project, attend the weekly lunchtime colloquium, and present their research at the Center.
The fellowship is offered for 3, 6, and 9 month period. Fellows will be offered an office to work and will be provided personal desk, chair, and locker. S/he will have access to book shelves, telephones, computers, printers, scanner, photocopy machine, fax-machine, and office supplies. The fellowship support depends on the experience and current employment of the selected fellows. The Center will also pay for a replacement of the successful candidate at her/his home institution.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicant must be postdoctoral or senior researcher. Strong proposals have better chances to be selected for fellowships.
- The research topic must comply with one of the research themes mentioned above.
- Application must be written/submitted in either English or German language (whichever they are proficient in).
- Application should be electronically submitted via email by the deadline.
The application should include cover letter, curriculum vitae, project description, research schedule for the fellowship period, and names/contact information of three scholars who might serve as reference.
