SRCD is offering its Society for Research in Child Development fellowships program. The program is designed For Congressional Fellowships and Executive Branch Fellowships. Both SRCD Fellowships are designed for scholars from a variety of backgrounds and scientific disciplines. Just as SRCD itself is an interdisciplinary organization, Fellows have backgrounds from a range of disciplines focusing on child development issues.
The SRCD Fellowship Program are a training opportunity suited for individuals throughout their career development. Both early- and later-career applicants are encouraged to apply.
The purpose of the SRCD is to integrate research activities and to stimulate research in child development. The committee awarded fellowships, initiated conferences, and began publications.
Eligibility Criteria
- Each Fellowship program applicant must be a member of SRCD, and must be a U.S. citizen.
- Online applications require:
- a statement of interest (1,000 word maximum) that describes the applicant’s background and qualifications for the Fellowship, basis for interest in the Fellowship—including policy areas or issues of interest and skills to be acquired— and career goals, including how the Fellowship would support those goals;
- three letters of recommendation, and
- A current C.V.

Note: It is recommended that applicant apply for the Fellowship best suited to your interests and goals. However, some applicants choose to apply for both the Executive Branch and Congressional Fellowships. In this situation, applicants should submit a separate statement of interest for each.
