Department of Anthropology invites applications for Teaching Fellow in Social Anthropology. These applications are invited for Grade 7, part time with salary 35,707 – £38,744 per annum pro rata.
These applications are invited for the period 1st September 2012 to 31st December 2012.
The successful candidate will be a professional anthropologist fully qualified in the discipline and with experience in ethnographic research. Their main area of expertise will be in Anthropology of Religion and will be able to bring social anthropological perspectives to bear on question of resources use and management. The post holder will be responsible for teaching on the anthropology of religion at undergraduate and Masters’ level and conducting seminars in Resource use and management for M.Sc. students in Anthropology, Environment and Development. Applicants will also be expected to act as supervisor for undergraduate and Masters’ students.
Key Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Social Anthropology or related subject with excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
