The United States Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM) funding program inviting NGO programs benefiting Burmese and Other urban refugees and asylum seekers in Thailand and Malaysia.
Proposed activities should primarily support Burmese and other refugees and asylum seekers, including Rohingya, in Thailand and Malaysia. Because of PRM mandate to provide protection, assistance, and sustainable solutions for refugees and victims of conflict, PRM will consider funding only those projects that include a target beneficiary base of at least 50 percent refugees/asylum-seekers.
- Urban Refugees and Asylum Seekers
Project proposals must not be more than $10,400,000 (per year).
- Nonprofits having a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits that do not have a 501(c)(3) status with the IRS, other than institutions of higher education.
- International Organizations. International multilateral organizations, such as United Nations agencies, should not submit proposals through Grants.gov in response to the program. Multilateral organizations that are seeking funding for programs relevant to this announcement should contact the PRM Program Officer on or before the closing date of the funding announcement.
