The US-based Lemelson Foundation solicits proposals from NGOs for providing funds to projects and programs that strengthen social and economic life around the world. The guiding principles of the Foundation are “the Power of Invention, Inspiring to Invent, Starting Early, Bottom-up, Sustainability and Idea to Impact” There are no specific themes prioritized by the Foundation, but leave to the NGOs to identify and present them through proposals. Letters of Inquiry prior to submitting proposals is recommended, but there is no deadline.
