The budget will be varied according to the types of applications. Since collaborations with your community and other organizations are highly encouraged by the PACF, you should include how the funding will be expended by specified organizations and communities. You may indicate the total project cost, the names and costs of direct beneficiaries (costs needed by the project like equipment, staffing, travel, training, monitoring and evaluation, and communications), indirect beneficiaries (costs needed by the space and facility provider), other funding sources, and project duration (24 or 36 months). A provisional line itemized budget in your national currency and converted to British pounds will be required, and this is an example by using a list (chart is not loadable to the online form):

1   Hiring/training of 4 staff                     24 months       (Local currency)          £30,000           PACF fund

2   Working space rental                          24 months       (Local currency)          £32,000           Community funds

3   Network equipment & software         4 months         (Local currency)          £40,000           PACF fund

4   Supplies and consumables                  24 month         (Local currency)          Free                 Donations

5   … …

You are required to list your funders of last year including funded amounts. If your total organizational income exceeds £1 million, you will only need to include funders and funded amounts for the country your proposal is targeted in. And you will need to indicate if you are on behalf of a consortium. The fund stipulates that 85% of project budgets should be spent in your country and allows overhead (indirect) costs of up to 15% of the total budget.

Four attachments are required for the application: 1) A letter of declaration (a sample is in the Guidance Notes, and it should be printed on your official headed paper and signed by a legal representative). 2) A list of your trustees (references) with names and contact phones and emails. 3) A proof of your organization’s registration. 4) A copy of your latest audited accounts.

If your application is approved by the PACF, a full application proposal, a more detailed budget, and a validation of your organization’s charitable status will be required before funding can be made available. Every funded grant is a partnership, and if you are successful, the PACF will work with you and support you to maximize the impact of your grant.
