Once the Problem Description and Justification part of the proposal is complete, a good part of our work is done! We have explained the problem and we have justified the intervention. Now, we only need to explain how we are going to implement the intervention.
The process of explaining the intervention in a proposal mainly comprises of the following parts:
1) Goal & Objectives
2) Project Results
3) Strategy
4) Activities
5) Monitoring & Evaluation
While writing a goal, think of it as a large aim. This goal cannot be achieved alone by the project, but the project is actually contributing towards this goal in addition to other forces such as the government and other organizations.
In our example proposal, the goal can be, as follows:
“Reducing poverty and enhancing livelihood options for the poor and vulnerable communities”
