How to find the cause of the problem we are seeing around us
One of the ways to analyze a problem or trying to find the cause of the problem is to ask oneself:
“Why this is happening?”
By continuously asking oneself this question, we can reach out to the cause of the problem.
There can be many causes to a problem. To know more and more about causes, we need to ask the above question again and again.
Remember that all NGO projects and interventions work to address the cause of the problem, not the effects of the problem.
You can use the following table to write down the problem and the cause associated with it.
|A lot of youths are roaming around without any work||because||Families are unable to afford higher education for youths in the villagesYouths are not interested in traditional work such as farming
There are no employment opportunities for youths in the area
|Men regularly migrating to cities in search of work||because||Lack of sustainable income opportunities in the area|
|Women have to struggle hard to feed themselves and their children||because||Lack of sustainable sources of income for the household|
