The Maypole Funds invites applications from women or women’s group involved in projects which supports females from any kind of issue including male violence. These groups can apply for up to 750 British Pounds.
Maypole Funds helps women who aim to works for women’s political and social autonomy around the globe. Maypole has previously granted funds up to 750 British Pounds to India, UK, Britain, Nicaragua and Uganda to strengthen women against domestic violence. Priority is given to individual woman or small group of women. Preference will be given to specific projects, projects which have not been started or completed project.
Total 10-12 projects will be supported.
The Fund was set up in 1986 and at present they are group of females who are motivated to work for non-violent activities and the fund they grant is completely for women.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be project initiated by women group.
- Application must be made for women’s right issues
- Individual women residential of global North will not be granted funds if request purpose is for personal interest.
- Applicants from UK must send applications with stamped addressed envelope
- Projects which are run by both men and women will be rejected.
- Application must describe how their project is related to Maypole’s aims and also mention how the above criteria are applied.
- Application should clearly mention the total amount you need for the project. Maximum limit is 750 British Pounds. Include breakdown of costs.

Fill the application form by following instructions given below:
- Application should not exceed four A4 sheets.
- Clearly define the aim of your project.
- Provide an active e-mail address to contact you.
- Also provide bank account details with IBAN code.
