The A.G. Leventis Foundation has launched the annual program of educational grants intended for postgraduate students and doctoral candidates. Post-doctoral research is not included under the grant scheme.
A.G. Leventis Foundation, established in 1979, conducts various types of activities – from the reconstruction of a large number of classical, Byzantine, and post-Byzantine monuments, and the enrichment and presentation of Cypriot antiquities collections in museums around the world, to the systematic granting of scholarships, and sponsorship of nature conservation and sustainable development projects in Southern Europe, Africa and world-wide. The foundation was envisoned by Cypriot entrepreneur Anastasios G. Leventis who formulated its focus on society, education and culture.

- For renewal of the Grants – Deadline is 30 April 2014
- By New and Repeat Applicants – Deadline is 31 May 2014
Eligibility Criteria –
- Application can be made for postgraduate studies or doctoral research only.
- Applicant can be the citizen of any nation and be of any age.
- Applications by undergraduates who have not yet obtained their first University degree will not be considered.
- Application must be submitted in English language, electronically choosing the correct type of application.
Complete application includes – curriculum vitae, university acceptance letter(conditional/unconditional) and/or latest Registration Document (if available), secondary school diploma or A levels certificate or equivalent, first degree and transcripts or official confirmation of completion of degree & transcripts, postgraduate degree (if applicable), proof of ID, one reference letter, summary of PhD proposal (only for PhD applicants) and progress report (if the applicant is already a Leventis Scholar applying for a renewal grant).
The CV, PhD proposal summary and progress report must be in English (or translated in English), other documents will be accepted in French or Greek too.
