The Council on State Support to National NGOs (CSSN) in Azerbaijan, International Grant Program (IGP) is inviting project proposals from NGOs for activities that are apolitical and relevant to the promotion of Azerbaijan’s economy, multi-cultural & multi-ethnic values, Tradition, Culture, Sports, Tourism, contemporary concerns etc.
Primary mission of IGP is to promote Azerbaijan’s achievements in the field of economy, democracy, culture, tradition, sports etc., to share its concern on territorial integrity, sovereignty and security, in the countries of the sub-grantees.
Grants range between USD30,000 and USD100,000 for the projects from 6-12 months.

- Azerbaijan’s outstanding progress in all spheres of life and economy.
- History, Culture and Tradition of Azerbaijan.
- Political implications of Armenian-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
- Progress on HDI (Human Development Index).
- Media strategy to promote Azerbaijan overseas.
- Progress made on civil society development since independence.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a registered NGO of the country of origin.
- Applicants must have good track record of doing similar task and must be a member of European Union or from North-America (USA, Canada) or from CIS countries.
Complete application materials includes – curriculum vitae of key personnel who will be directly involved in the implementation of the project, short description of the founders of the organization, an organizational chart, recommendation letter, registration document stating non-governmental organization (not-for-profit) status, declaration by the Head of NGO stating that the project proposal has not been submitted to another donor(s) for funding at the same time, budget narrative, activity plan, logical frame work as a whole document, event spreadsheet, a check list signed by the head of the NGO or the person responsible for all aspects of the project implemented.
