The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is accepting grant proposals for Partnerships for Enhanced Engagement in Research (PEER) Grant Program. Various grant opportunities are open with the same deadline for different target groups – global, regional and country specific. Scientific and technical researchers in developing countries are highly encouraged to submit pre-proposals for selection. Grants are allocated to support research and capacity-building activities on topics of importance to USAID and conducted in partnership with US Government-funded partners.

- Smithsonian Institution
- US Department of Agriculture (USDA)
- US Geological Survey (USGS)
These partners must be investigators who will contribute to the scientific merit and impact of PEER projects through expertise, skills, methodologies, laboratory access, and synergies with ongoing projects.
Interested organizations are invited to submit pre-proposal on health, science and other related research areas. Cross-disciplinary and multi-sectoral research collaborations are also encouraged.
