The Government of United Kingdom (UK) is accepting grant applications from organizations in Ukraine and international organizations on good governance and economic reforms. The UK Government assistance aims to support Ukraine’s economic development and political stability. The assistance is provided to the Government of Ukraine (GoU), civil society and the business community to build a democratic and accountable government, and a healthier economy.
Strategic priorities
- Good governance, accountability and transparency, with a particular focus on tackling corruption.
- Implementation of economic reforms, with a particular focus on proposals to support an improved business climate.
Grant request can be made in between £100,000 and £200,000 for projects to begin in April 2015 and end by 31 March 2016.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be Ukrainian organizations or international non-government organizations (both not-for profit and for profit).
- Applications can be made by single organization or consortia of organizations.
- Applicant organization must have a demonstrated reputation for high quality work in the types of activities identified.
- Applicants must have a track record of effective delivery in former Soviet Union countries.
- Applicants must be able to work in Russian and Ukrainian languages.
- Project must take place in Ukraine.
- Proposed project must demonstrate strong strategic relevance to the priorities identified above, added value and sustainability.
- Proposals must be submitted in the UK-UA Grant Application Form together with the Activity Based Budget Form.
- Applications must be submitted via email by the deadline.
