FundsforNGOs does not tolerate or condone activities related to spam, phishing and internet fraud. It has a strict policy against sending or promoting unsolicited emails; it does not use false identities; and it expressly prohibits the use of the FundsforNGOs name or identify for any type of internet fraud.
FundsforNGOs has been conducting online business since 2008 and it is a highly popular niche-based website providing online products to nonprofits and individuals around the world. It maintains and operates at the highest possible ethical business standard and does not allow, promote or support any kind of illegal activities.
1. Anti-Spam and Anti-Spamvertising
Spam refers to sending out unsolicited bulk messages via email, SMS, instant messaging, social networks and other means of electronic communication. In most cases, spam involves advertising which is also referred to as Spamvertising.
FundsforNGOs neither tolerates spam nor spamvertising. It also does not collect nor buy unsolicited emails, phone numbers, social IDs and does not send out any kind of bulk advertising messages to internet users. All messages are sent out by FundsforNGOs using valid third-party newsletter service providers and the emails are collected only through double opt-in confirmations from users interested in the services offered by us.
2. Anti Phishing Policy
Phishing is the act of sending an e-mail to a user while falsely claiming to be an established, legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft.
We are aware that there have been several recent attempts to impersonate FundsforNGOs over email. These communications often promise funding and/or investment opportunities to encourage people to respond by providing their personal information.
FundsforNGOs would like our users to know that we would NEVER ask for personal information, such as social security or account numbers in an e-mail message. If you ever receive an e-mail allegedly from FundsforNGOs asking for this type of information, you should NOT RESPOND to it and notify us immediately. Do not open any attachments or click on any links within the email as they may be compromised.

NGOs around the world should be especially careful as spammers and internet fraudsters often posing as genuine donors (and sometimes even as FundsforNGOs) approach them with false promises of providing funding and donations and ask them to submit advance payments. FundsforNGOs strictly prohibits such activities and does not ask NGOs to send payments with false promises of getting donations and funding for NGOs. It has also developed an NGO guide to help protect our users from online fraud and scams.
