Deadline- April 6, 2012
Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives. In developing countries, it focuses on improving people’s health and giving them the chance to lift themselves out of hunger and extreme poverty. In the United States, it seeks to ensure that all people—especially those with the fewest resources—have access to the opportunities they need to succeed in school and life.
The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit consultant information, services information, and cost quotations in order for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to identify several organizations in low- and middle-income countries to undertake two to three (2-3) country analyses each of routine immunization programs costs and financing in countries that have introduced new vaccines in 2011, or that plan to introduce in early 2012; and to examine the costs of vaccine introduction, unit costs, and productivity. This would result in a total of six to eight (6-8) country studies total under this activity. The analysis should be based on a survey of delivery sites as well as an analysis of administrative costs at national and sub-national levels.
