Deadline- 8 July 2013
Applications are accepted for the Pacific Islands Women in Leadership program (WIL) offered by East-West Center. The objective of this program is to create a vibrant network of women leaders across the Pacific region who will learn from each other and provide mutual support as they seek to bring about positive changes in their island societies.
The WIL will provide extensive project development training and mentorship, close follow-up support after the on-campus portion of the program, and small seed grants to selected projects. The seed funding will assist participants in leveraging their past experiences, current goals and project design to develop additional funding sources or revenue models. Particular emphasis will be placed on social entrepreneurship as a design framework.
