Request for Applications (RFA) is invited for a women’s leadership programme having higher education partnership in Paraguay. This program is being organized by Higher Education for Development (HED), in association with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID/Paraguay).
HED expects to make one award of around $812,000 USD for three years for a higher education partnership between one or more higher education institutions in the United States and the National University of Asuncion in Paraguay. This partnership is part of an extensive as well as innovative effort known as the Women’s Leadership Program, whose major objective is to support national and local development goals which promote gender equality and female empowerment. Subject to the availability of U.S. government funding, HED anticipates issuing a total of five RFAs for higher education partnerships under the Women’s Leadership Program in Rwanda, South Sudan, Paraguay and Armenia.
