The United States Department of State Embassy Managua’s and Embassy San Jose’s INL program is seeking applications to implement a program entitled “Trafficking in Persons Awareness, Prevention & Protection.”

Program Goals
- To increase awareness and prevention of human trafficking where TIP vulnerability is highest.
- To improve victim assistance services through development of victim identification procedures to increase non-governmental organization (NGO) capacity in Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

Eligibility Criteria
- Registered non-profit organizations including civil society organizations, NGOs, religious associations, or educational institutions based in Nicaragua and/or Costa Rica; or, registered non-profit organizations including civil society organizations, NGOs, religious associations, or educational institutions based in the U.S. but with ensured local buy-in and sustainability are eligible to apply for the program.
- Organizations must have a commitment to non‐discrimination with respect to beneficiaries and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices.
- Organization must have current Dun and Bradstreet (DUNS) number as well as a current Central Contractor Registration
