Applications are invited by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for Political Competition and Consensus Building activity program in Uganda. The aim of this project is build the capacity of viable political parties and entities with the aim of accelerating political consolidation by assisting the parties to develop national to local party structures, strengthen their organizational bases, and develop responsive, issue-based platforms.
The total estimated budget for this RFA is $8 million, subject to the availability of funds.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- USAID policy encourages competition in the award of Grants and Cooperative Agreements. In response to this RFA, any U.S. or non-U. S. organisations, non-profit, or for-profit entity is eligible to apply.
- USAID encourages applications from potential new partners.
- There shall be a minimum cost share of 5% in all applications. Cost-sharing, once accepted, becomes a condition of payment of the federal share.
