United States Department of State Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration is inviting grant proposals for NGO Programs Benefiting Tibetan Refugees in South Asia. The major purpose of the program is to provide protection, assistance, and sustainable solutions for refugees and victims of conflict.
Proposed activities should primarily support Tibetan refugees in South Asia. Proposals that seek to address the needs of the most vulnerable Tibetan refugees in both India and Nepal are highly prioritized but proposals for only one country are also considered.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Nonprofits having 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education; Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status with IRS, other than institutions of higher education; and International Organizations are eligible to apply for the grant.
- Proposals must focus on at least one of the following sectors – health including reproductive health; livelihoods; and education.
