Applications are invited for The Media for Informed Civic Engagement program organized under the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The objective of this program to increase citizen access to independent and reliable sources of information. It aims to enhance the quality and availability of information available to citizens, with a focus on news and program production at the local and regional levels, and coverage of reform issues at the national level.
USAID intends to provide approximately $3,350,000 in total USAID funding to be allocated over a period of five years.
Eligibility & Criteria-
- Be organized under Armenian laws.
- Have its principal place of business in Armenia.
- Majority should be owned by individuals who are Armenian citizens or lawful permanent residents of Armenia or be managed by a governing body, the majority of whom are Armenian citizens or lawful permanent residents of Armenia.
- Not be controlled by a foreign entity or by an individual or individuals who are not citizens or permanent residents of Armenia
