Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be academics and researchers from universities and research interests in Central Asia, South East Asia and South Asia.
- Applicants must possess a PhD degree. Applicants with Masters’ degree and substantial relevant work experience will be considered.
- Applicants should coordinate the project during the fellowship phase, implementation phase and monitoring phase spanning over 3 years.
- Fellowship is awarded to institution, not individuals. So, applicants must obtain support of their institutions prior to applying for the program.
- Applicants’ institutions, partner organizations, and community should be ready to provide in-kind support to the applicant.
- Proposals must demonstrate capacity for research excellence, novel concept, data quality, implementation feasibility, and sustainable development.
Application Process
- Submit a project brief by the deadline using the provided template.
- Shortlisted applicants would be notified via e-mail within three weeks after the submission deadline.
- These shortlisted applicants will have to submit full proposal by 31 March 2015.
- Successful applicants shall be notified by 1 May 2015.A letter of award and terms of reference shall be sent, requiring formal acceptance by the applicant and her/his institution.
