If your organization is registered in a country other than the United States, you should have the following information ready to upload before you begin the application:
- Program materials
- Letter of reference
- Certificate of government registration
- Founding document (with dissolution clause) such as Constitution, Articles of Association, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Charter, By-Laws, Trust Deed
- Financial documents (2 years of financial statements and a current year budget)
- Disbursement information
- Names of senior staff and board members
And, you should review and indicate your agreement to each of these items – GlobalGiving Terms & Conditions, Anti-terror Certification, Non-discrimination Policy, and Due Diligence Affidavit.

- 24 October 2014 – Application is due
- November 15, 2014 – Project Leaders are notified about approval of their application
- 26 November 2014 – Project submission deadline
- 1 – 31 December 2014 – Open Challenge Dates
- 1 January 2015 – Challenge results announced
- End of January 2015 – GlobalGiving to disburse funds
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant organization must be a registered non-profit organization in the US (i.e. 501(c)3) or its home country.
- The organization is committed to updating donors at least every three months on the progress of the project it lists.
- The organization’s staff must have the ability to communicate with GlobalGiving in English, including translating documents
- The organization should not discriminate in selecting its beneficiaries.
