An international interactive webinar is going to be launched by WHO Patient Safety. The main purpose of the webinar is to present and explain its guide, ‘Assessing and tackling patient harm: A methodological guide for data-poor hospitals.’ The guide is a newly developed tool that aims to improve the safety of patients worldwide.
This guide will prove to be extremely helpful to researchers, quality managers, clinicians and other professionals who are concerned about the safety of patients in hospitals. The guide will provide ways to improve the safety of patients, without having to depend upon good medical records.
The guide is also expected to be quite effective and useful, as it also has a set of supporting materials, like PowerPoint presentations that will help train health professionals. The training thus provided will equip the health professionals to implement the protocols and presentations to inform the various stakeholders across the globe about the different studies.
