USAID/Mozambique anticipates making multiple awards(Fixed Obligation Grants based on milestones or Cooperative Agreements (hereafter called agreements) to fund applications submitted in response to this APS. USAID reserves the right to fund any or none of the applications submitted. However, the number of agreements will depend upon the quality of the submitted applications and budget limitations. There are no plans for another similar funding opportunity during this year. Each agreement will be awarded for a period up to three years. The estimated amount of funds available for the first year is $3,200,000. The amount of funds beyond the first year will be subjected to the availability of funds.
ELIGIBILITY:
Eligible applicants include organizations that have demonstrated technical skills, experience and the necessary management capacity to plan and efficiently execute HIV and AIDS assistance programs using mutually agreed international standards of accountability. Eligible organizations must be registered in Mozambique (prior to award.). Eligible organizations include non-governmental organizations (NGOs), faith-based organizations (FBOs), community-based organizations (CBOs), multi-lateral organizations, foundations, private organizations affiliated with public academicinstitutions, professional associations, non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations willing to forego profit, and consortia of the above.
