The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi is seeking applications for small local projects and the project countries for 2016 are Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The purpose of the projects is to support positive changes in the country.
The projects are to be carried out by local subjects (educational, health, social, cultural, NGOs, cooperatives, administrative-territorial entities, local communities, etc.) for realization of small scale development activities. The scope of content might vary from equipment supply, development activities implementation, educational and training activities, capacity building etc. SLPs should also contribute to visibility of the Czech Republic and improve understanding of Czech Republic as a donor country.
Funding Information
- The maximum amount to be allocated for SML is:
- Bangladesh: 300,000 CZK(approximately 10 000 EUR)
- Nepal: 400,000 CZK(approximately 14 500 EUR)
- Sri Lanka: 300,000 CZK(approximately 10 000 EUR)
- Total amount of one project in particular country cannot be less than 200 000 CZK or exceed the max amount allocated for the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- Local non-governmental non-profit organization and other subject qualified to realize development cooperation projects can participate.
- There is a need to prove 3 years of existence of applicant’s organization and experience with cooperation with international donors.
