The Humane Earth Foundation accepts letter of motivation from organizations in Eastern and Western Europe defending the environment. The primary motive behind the funding support of the foundation is to help the organizations and associations working to preserve and promote environment implement their projects more effectively and make positive impact in the targeted regions.
The Humane Earth Foundation supports projects involving concrete action and actual implementation of change in lifestyle. It aims to defend the natural environment and biodiversity, and combat poverty and exclusion, especially concerning food safety and wholesomeness, together with access to quality health care.
Procedure to obtain grant
- Send a short letter of motivation outlining the project and the amount of subsidy required.
- The foundation sends response as soon as possible. Selected applicants will be invited to submit complete dossier for examination.
- Agreements are signed to implement the selected projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be from one of the following eligible regions (countries) Eastern Europe: Russia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Moldova, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Belarus, Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia; & Western Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.
- Applicants must be organizations, associations or institutions defending environment.
- Funding is granted only to collectively-oriented projects conducted by solidarity-based groups of people, excluding individual projects.
- The proposed project must clearly state the goal, available means, budget and various sources of funding to make the project sustainable.
