The Canadian International Development Research Centre (IDRC) has announced the call for concept notes for the 2013 Canadian International Food Security Research Fund (CIFSRF).
This call will support new research to improve food production and distribution, and the health and nutritional dimensions of food security in developing countries.
Through this call, the Fund is looking to harness the best of the private, public and non-governmental sectors to expand its research portfolio and lay the groundwork for scaling-up research results and innovations – within a country, across a region, and possibly, across continents.
This is an open, competitive call for concept notes, and submissions may come from new or existing partnerships. Please see the links and documents posted below for details of this call.
The goal of the Fund is to develop more equitable, productive and environmentally sustainable agri-food systems that increase food security and enhance nutrition in developing countries.
This 2013 call will support new research projects to improve food production and distribution, and the health and nutritional dimensions of food security in developing countries.
