The International Dermatology Patient Organization Conference – IDPOC 2015 is accepting applications for its program which includes Critical Skills workshops and Informational Symposia.
The funds are generous contributions from industry sponsors. Depending upon the contributions they receive and the number of applications we are hoping to be able to provide financial support ranging from C$250 to C$1,000.
IDPOC 2015 is the first ever conference dedicated to the patient leaders committed to run patient support organizations in the area of dermatology. Whether you serve people with vitiligo, eczema, alopecia, psoriasis, skin cancers or rarer skin conditions like pemphigus, epidermolysis bullosa, or hidradenitis suppurativa, or any of the 3000 dermatological conditions.
Selection Criteria
The criteria used to divide the pool of funds available will seek to ensure:
- Wide representation from all regions in the world,
- A diversity of dermatological diseases being represented,
- Opportunities for leaders with varied levels of experience, from smaller, new organizations through seasoned veterans.
Applicants are requested to register for IDPOC 2015 and secure space for the program from 11-13 June 2015. The 2015 applications will be reviewed in 2 stages; initially, for thsoe received on or before March 31 and finally, for all applications received by April 30. Decisions will be communicated by April 8 and May 8, respectively.
