Apply for Deputy Vice-Chancellor Up Scholarship at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) while applying for admission and secure a seat of international post-graduate research scholar! The scholarship is open for the research in following areas
- Health
- Education
- Law
- Business
- Creative Industries
- Science and Engineering
The selected students will receive a top-up scholarship of $6,000 per annum for three years of doctoral studentship to supplement the living allowance.
Applicants desiring scholarship must indicate it on their application for admission to the QUT. The applicants will be notified about the status of their application in December 2014 or January 2015.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have Honors First Class (or equivalent).
- Applicants must be completing their PhD or professional doctorate.
- Applicants must be ranked in the top APA recipients in the annual scholarship round (excluding Vice Chancellor’s top-up recipients).
- Individuals currently holding the following are not eligible to apply – Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), QUT Postgraduate Research Award (QUTPRA), QUT Masters Scholarship (QMS), QUT Strategic Masters (QSM), Owen J Wordsworth (OJW), Indigenous Postgraduate Research Award (IPRA), International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS), Research Capacity Building Award (RCBA), any scholarships sponsored by their home country or an external organization.
