The Mid-West Center for Lifelong Learning in Public Health (MCLPH), School of Public Health is providing free on-line training with continuing education credits. All the courses are free, and participants are awarded certificate of completion as well.
MCLPH is one of 37 Public Health Training Centers (PHTC) located at schools of public health across the US and funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration(HRSA). The PHTC Network improves the Nation’s public health system by strengthening the technical, scientific, managerial, and leadership competence of current and future public health professionals. Public Health Training Centers assess the learning needs of the public health workforce, provide accessible training, and work with organizations to meet other strategic planning, education, and resource needs.
MCLPH is comprised of faculty and staff from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health, who partner with other organizations including the Minnesota Department of Health, North Dakota Health Department, and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to meet the education needs of public health professionals.
MCLPH is one of the centers in the Centers for Public Health Education and Outreach, which promotes lifelong learning to bridge academic and public health practice communities.
