The Tropical Health and Educational Trust (THET) in association with UKAID is seeking applications for a health partnership scheme to help improve Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures in low and middle income countries.
It will strengthen the capacity of the overseas country’s health services to cope with future outbreak and emergency situations associated with highly infectious diseases alongside the effective delivery of essential day-to-day health services.
Funding Available – £10,000 to £50,000 for between six and 17 month projects.
What is Health Partnership?
A health partnership is an on-going ‘twinning’ or ‘linking’ arrangement between counterpart health institutions in high-income settings and developing countries. The partnerships’ primary aim is to share knowledge and information to train health workers and improve health services.
Eligibility Criteria
- All established health partnerships are welcome to apply.
- Projects must be operating within low- or middle-income countries.
- Letters of support from each institution must be submitted along with the application.
