The Tribal Foundation was founded by Henry Pitman, a member of the family that invented the famous shorthand system. Tribal’s mission is to create, build and deliver a range of world class technology based products and services that help our education, learning and training customers deliver excellence.
The Foundation is mainly funded by staff donations that are matched by Tribal. The Foundation also receives additional funding from the EU and other bodies, which means that for every pound raised by staff and their friends and family, up to £12 goes to good causes.
The Tribal Foundation supports sustainable projects in the UK and the developing world that reflect Tribal’s expertise and knowledge in areas such as education and health.
