The Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Australia invites applications from Australian and international postdoctoral researchers at levels B and C on a three year, fixed-term basis to become Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellow. The fellows will have an opportunity to develop and enhance their academic record and make a significant contribution to the research outcomes.
Up to 15 fellows will be selected to participate in the research fellowship. The fellows will be offered a competitive remuneration, superannuation benefits along with $20,000 research support grant in the first year of appointment.
Research Areas
- Education – children and youth intervention
- Health – healthy Ageing, health economics, systems biology
- Science and engineering – environmental health and air quality, plant biotechnology, bio-fabrication and biomaterials, robotics and computer vision, machine learning
- Creative Industry – digital media
- Business – business innovation
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants can be Australian or international postdoctoral researchers at levels B and C on a three year, fixed-term basis.
- Applications must be made for one of the above mentioned research areas.
- Applicants must have been awarded a PhD and must be based at QUT for the full duration of the fellowship.
- Proposed research project must be aligned with an identified area of strength.
- Applicants must be ready to seek additional funding through external granting schemes for projects/fellowships hosted by QUT during the period of the fellowship.
- Applicants must make a full-time commitment to the fellowship.
